Born and raised in the Bay Area, Carmen is the eldest daughter of three, an attorney, mom, and guide. Growing up Latina taught her responsibility early and gave her the courage to ask hard questions and create new paths.
As an estate planning attorney with over 13 years of experience and founder of Legacy Protection Firm, PC, she helps women protect their families, assets, and legacies so they can move forward with peace of mind. Too often, women—especially Latinas—avoid the tough conversations about money, family, and legacy. Carmen believes asking those questions creates clarity, and clarity creates power.

What advice would you give to other Latinas?
Her advice is simple: Don’t wait until it’s too late. Have the hard conversations now. Protect what you’ve built. Your legacy is your voice, make sure it carries forward.
What do you do for fun?
Carmen loves traveling with her family, exploring new cultures, and spending time outdoors. She also recharges through reading, journaling, and connecting with women who inspire her.
